Rainbow Washi

Hi scrappers! This week’s layout celebrates spring with lots of colors and florals. I used some photos taken last year when all the local hills were covered in yellow mustard flowers..

I used some simplistic lined paper as my background from the Curiosities in Willow Grove stack by 49 and Market. I then used two separate fabric tapes from the Spectrum Gardenia collection and arranged them perpendicular to each other. From there, I alternatively layered skinny paper scraps and washi by Bo Bunny to create the framework for my page.

I used two different paper scraps to mat my photos and them embellished by cutting rainbow flowers out of some washi by Pinkfresh. I wish these were pre-cut because even lazy fussy cutting around all these flowers and leaves took forever! I used the circular daisy chain to frame my title which came from Simple Stories’ Simple Vintage Life in Bloom Bits & Pieces pack. I finished off with a chipboard goose, watering can and butterfly by Stamperia, and sprinkled in some enamel dots, also by Simple Stories.

I used sketch 699 from Sketches in Thyme for this page and turned it 90 degrees. I built my clusters with Stamperia chipboard and ephemera rather than flowers and circles.

This rainbow page was also made for Colorful Options, which is always accepting ROYGBIV-colored projects.

That’s all for now. Thank you for visiting and I will see you all soon with another page!
