Love You To The Moon And Back

Periwinkle Textures

Hi everyone! I’m back this week with a page featuring some photos of my feisty kitty Jupiter. The images were all taken within moments of each other, but you can see how different her pupils look depending on her mood.

I started with some dark periwinkle paper by Arden and cut some strips from some scrap paper to create borders on the top and bottom. I used some white acrylic paint and a damp sponge to add some light patches, and then added some dark gray ink by Stamperia over the top.

I took a long piece of washi tape by London Gifties and layered it over some white paper so the colors would pop. I pulled some more assorted scraps, including a piece of floral print vellum, and arranged them behind my photos. There ended up being a piece of gray cardstock I used that’s not even visible because by the end of the page, it was covered completely with photos and rub-ons by 49 and Market.

I used a tag from the Hello Little Boy collection as my title. The colors were perfect! I also added a ticket that said “Play Time” from the same collection to tie in a little more gold. I also added periwinkle ephemera from 49 and Market’s Viken collection, tiny tags by K & Company, and some fake flowers by The Paper Studio. I finished with some pearlescent enamel dots by Craft Consortium.

I used sketch number 332 from Sketch and Scrap for this page. I used 3 big flowers instead of 2 because I had 3 left in the pack. This seemed like the perfect sketch for the 3 photos I wanted to use.

That’s all for this week! I post on Instagram and YouTube with additional scrapbooking content!
