Green And Gray

I’m back after a short hiatus and feel refreshed after a fun trip to Seattle! I have lots of fun pictures from my trip that I need to print, but this week I decided to scrap a photo my husband took with his fancy camera of our cat Europa. She is so photogenic!

I started with some olive green weathered wood paper by Cloud 9 Designs that I’ve had in my stash for a while. I cut it down a little and used some gray paper from Momenta as my background. From there, I layered lots of 49 and Market products including some rub-ons and die cuts from the Vintage Artistry Nature Study collection. I used foam core tape on the back of my plant die cuts as well as some cat die cuts by Minty to add dimension. I added in some silver brads by Recollections that look like little screws.

This page was made for the November mood board challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts. This month’s mood board was so pretty and very cat-centric. It was perfect for all the cat photos I need to scrap. I incorporated the following elements:

  • ferns/plants

  • woodgrain

  • gardening tools (watering can)

  • and cats, of course!

This page was also made for the Sketch with a Twist challenge. The twist was to use washi tape which I added along the top. I put the tape down over white paper first so the colors would look more vibrant.

That’s all for this week. Thank you for stopping by and check out my accounts on YouTube and Instagram at thescrapattack.
