Look On The Bright Side
Text Print And Florals
Hi scrappers! I think I finally made a page with minimal products! Normally I use a ton of different items, especially embellishments on a single page. This time I mostly used patterned papers to make an impact along with floral embellishments all from a single pack, rather than 10 different collections!
I used some pretty orange paper with a subtle text print. The words were all garden themed so I paired it with some unique floral light bulb paper by Jen Hadfield. To make my accent paper pop, I matted it with some DCWV cardstock and used the same color to mat my photos. I used a light teal tag from some Vicki Boutin cut-apart paper and added some old twine wrapped around a fuzzy brad.
What really makes this page pop is all the floral embellishments from Simple Stories Noteworthy Floral Bits. I believe this came to me as part of a blind ephemera box I purchased and I had never opened this until now. These embellishments ended up working really well with my light bulb paper so I used a whole bunch of them and layered them above and below my photos. The title is from a pack of puffy stickers by The Paper Studio and I added little clusters of rhinestones by Molossi instead of my usual enamel dots.
This page was made using sketch 427 from A Cherry on Top Crafts. I liked the text print background in the original sketch but found one that was more subdued so it wouldn’t be too busy.
That’s all for this week. Thank you for visiting and I will be back with a new page soon.
