Pause For Paws

Pastel Pink And Purple

Hi scrappers! I’m back with another page featuring my cat Europa. I used shades of purple and pink that made this layout feel both feminine and playful.

I used some light pink cardstock by American crafts as my background and then played a 6 inch doily over the top. I used a combination of Distressed Oxide and Distressed Mica sprays by Tim Holtz to spray over the doily, simultaneously decorating it and leaving a stark outline of it once I removed it from the paper. I shifted it down a little bit so both the negative space left behind and the newly painted doily could both be displayed. I used purple yardstick to mat my photos and some stickers from The Happy Planner’s Free Spirit sticker book to build some clusters. The title is made up of alpha stickers by Sticko and Doodlebug and I added in some laser cut elements by 49 and Market over my photos since they were the perfect color. Lastly, I added some round and heart-shaped enamel dots to finish off the page.

This page was made for Colorful Options using the beautiful February color board! I included multiple shades of pink, purple and peach to make this pastel layout.

I lifted this layout by Deanna13 as part of a Valentine’s Day challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts. I liked the use of ink on the background and wanted to do something similar with the addition of a doily.

That’s all for now. Thank you for joining me and I will be back soon with a brand new scrapbook page.
