What A Little Weirdo

Blue And Yellow, Brads And Baubles

Ugh, I've been so busy lately! I can't believe January is almost over! This month has been a post Christmas blur filled with long work hours and me frantically trying to catch up on some of the games that came out over the holiday season. Yes, I love video games, (and Final Fantasy XV is soooo good you guys!) and I play them often. I finally found some time to get some scrapping in and here's what I came up with.

I started with solid yellow paper and arranged my paper pieces on top. I usually don't do a lot of geometric paper piecing on my pages because my corners never line up perfectly, but I really liked the January sketch at Creative Scrappers so I decided to give it a try. I used paper from Mometa and from Paper Studio's Tattered and Worn pad.

I used one big photo instead of three little ones. It features my spazzy cat and the odd sleeping position I caught her in one day. I put the title on top of a couple of tags and embellished with various brads, rhinestones, pushpin stickers by Jolee's Boutique, Kimono tape, Paper Studio cat saying stickers, Sandylion cat stickers, and Tim Holtz idea-ology stickers.

I LOVE the mood board provided by The Studio Challenges this month. The yellow and blue tones are so fun and the geometric shapes reflect the shapes in my layout.

That's all for now. See you next time scrappers!
