Scrapbook Challenge

Spooky Fun

Halloween, But Make It Fancy

Hi scrappers! How did it get to be October already? I guess that means I can scrapbook some Halloween pictures! This photo was taken a couple of years ago at Knott’s Scary Farm. They have a Halloween event every year with lots of mazes and decorations. My husband snapped this photo in front of a massive pumpkin display.

I knew I wanted to use the pretty pumpkin side of this double-sided paper by Graphic 45, but I knew it would be too busy to use as the main background. I cut a strip as an accent and used the polka dot side for the rest of the page. The Plum Grove collection from 49 and Market matched these colors perfectly so I used their Color Wash Rub-Ons and Ephemera Bits. I also used some Floral Spice ephemera by Bo Bunny. My favorite part are the two apothecary jar stickers by Jolee’s Boutique that have so many fun Halloween details. I think they have been discontinued for a while since I can’t find them for sale anywhere.

This page was made for the Cherry Lift over at A Cherry on Top Crafts. I lifted this original sketch by teenybop61 since it had the accent strip I was looking for and matched the orientation for the photo I wanted to use.

This page was also made for the Grab 5 challenge at A Cherry on Top. I chose to incorporate the following:

  • Orange Embellishment

  • Doily

  • Moon

  • Frames

  • Ephemera

  • Black Alphas

  • Rub-Ons

That’s all for this week! Thank you for visiting and I will be back with a new page soon!
