Orange And Turquoise Autumn

Hi scrappers! This week I bring you a fall-inspired page in shades of orange and turquoise. This photo was taken a few years ago when my husband and I went to June Lake in California. I had bought this vintage orange dress from a thrift shop and we took some amazing pictures! This particular shot reminds me of butterfly wings so I incorporated butterflies into my layout.

I started with some orange cardstock by Momenta. This paper is really thick and double-sided too. I found the perfect piece of teal butterfly paper by Graphic 45 and cut it down a little. I added laser cut elements from 49 and Market’s Plum Grove and Viken collections and used foam mounting tape to adhere some of them, including all the little butterflies. Orange and teal enamel dots by Simple Stories adds the finishing touch.

I used sketch 283 from Sketch N Scrap. I used one large photo instead of two and changed the location of my title. I liked all the opportunities to layer elements that the sketch provided.

I used this gorgeous teal and orange mood board from A Cherry Top Crafts. The elements I drew inspiration from were orange leaves, trees and the yarn/fibers in the scarf.

That’s all for this week. Halloween is almost here! Are any of you doing anything fun this year? I will try and be back with one more (possibly spooky-themed) layout before we roll into November. Thanks for visiting!
