Color Dare Design Team Challenge 662

You Are Purrfect

Black, White, Red And Gold

Hi everyone! I’m back with Color Dare’s latest challenge: use white and gold with an additional color of your choice. I used red and a touch of black to make some photos of my two cats pop.

I started with some glittery striped paper by The Paper Studio as my background. I used a large scrap of black and gold polka dot paper to frame my photos, and matted it with some red paper to give it some extra contrast. My embellishments for this page were pretty minimal, including a large red polka dot tag, some red paisley paper scraps and a large title sticker from the Roxie and Friends 12 X 12 sticker sheet by Photo Play. I added some cat silhouette die cuts and used an Echo Park Paper stencil and Champagne Gold stencil butter over the top to add some star designs over the top.

Color Dare 662 invites you to use gold, white, and a color of your choice. I added in red as well as a few black accents for contrast. We can’t wait too see what you make and hope you will join us for this week’s challenge.

This page was also made using Sketch N Scrap sketch #318. I liked how the photos were side by side but offset and used a circular punch to duplicate the circular element with a piece of gold foil scrap paper.

Thank you for visiting. This month is almost over but I will try and return with at least one more page for the month of July!
