Scrapbook Challenge
Cozy!
Warm Fall Florals
Hi everyone! This week I scrapped a picture of my kitty Europa. She loves to sit in laps, even when you’re laying down. In this picture, she is sitting on my husband while he is laying down in bed.
I used some beige and dark brown cardstock from the Affinity stack by The Paper Studio for my background and one of the mats for my photo. I also tore a strip to place in between my beige background and some woodgrain paper by 49 and Market. To make my background a little more interesting, I used some Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain in Brushed Corduroy and added some sprays on my beige paper. From there, I used some Acorn Lane ephemera by Simple Stories and created a border and a cluster to the right of my photo. I didn’t use too many other embellishments this time since the ones I layered packed such a punch. My title is made from Trinkets chipboard alphas by Crate Paper and since all the letters are different, I tried to pick ones that were similar colors to my page. I added some Winter and Dark enamel dots by Simple Stories as a finishing touch.
This page was made for the November 3 in a Row challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts. I used the left column including Something Old (Affinity cardstock) Enamel Dots, and Clusters of Something.
This page was also made using sketch 684 from Sketches in Thyme. I really liked the way the flowers were positioned and new I had an unopened pack of embellishments that would work well for this.
That’s all for now. Thank you for stopping by and I’ll be back soon with another brand new page!
