Color Dare Design Team Challenge 680
Twenty-Fifth
Holiday Red And Green
Hi scrappers! The holiday season is here and I am commemorating with a page featuring some photos taken around Christmas time last year. The city puts up a lights display every year and so my husband brought a tripod and took these photos. I love the lights that are out of focus in the foreground!
I started with some green patterned paper by American Crafts from the Evergreen & Holly collection as my background. I created a border on the left with some red and green washi and then used a large scrap of paper left over from my last page. I used the other side of the Fun Times paper I used by 49 and Market and colored in random 2s and 5s with red and green markers. I used another sheet from the Evergreen & Holly paper stack to make polka dot photo mats. The title and stars are from an Evergreen & Holly chipboard set. I colored the edged red and green with the same markers and then decorated them with some Mittens & Mistletoe stickers and enamel dots by Altenew and Eyelet Outlet.
This page was made for Color Dare challenge 680 and I hope you’ll join us and share all of your red and green creations! I added plenty of black and white to my page as well to make the colors pop even more.
This page was made for the November throwback challenge at Sketch N Scrap. I used the sketch in the upper right corner since it featured 3 photos.
Thank you for joining me. If you are looking for more paper crafting challenges to participate in, join me here for a monthly Taylor Swift inspired challenge.
