Circle Punch And Stencils

Hi scrappers! This week I created am Autumn page using a photo I took on a trip to Seattle. I was on a walk in a park when I came across a giant leaf and took this photo.

I started with the mustard polka dot side of Maggie Holmes’ Cher Maison paper and used it as my background. I then used a circular squeeze punch to cut out lots of circles from some paper scraps from my stash. I used some washi tapes my London Gifties over the top of the while circles to create some fall-themed embellishments. I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder on 2 of the circles to add a woven texture to them. From there, I used rub-ons, laser cuts and ephemera from 49 and Market’s Nature Study collection to add even more embellishments, one which I used as a title. Lastly I added in some mixed media elements with a Time Holtz stencil and Yellow Ochre stencil butter by The Crafters workshop and scattered a few enamel dots by Carta Bella.

I used this sketch from last month’s Sketch with a Twist challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts but added a few more circles and a lot more embellishments to it.

That’s all for now. I host a Taylor Swift-themed paper crafting challenge and December’s challenge can be found here. I’d love to see you all check it out and submit your paper crafting projects!
