Moments to Remember

Double-Page Spread

Hi scrappers! This week I created a double-page layout which is something I don’t do very often. This allowed me to put together several pictures of my husband and I that were taken at different times in different places and put them all together in one layout.

I started with some paper from DCWV’s Be Mine stack. These two pages were designed to go together in a double page spread so they worked perfectly for this project. I then used some washi tape by London Gifties and a teal scrap of patterned paper to make some accent stripes across both pages. I cut the edges to fit inside the pre-printed borders of my background paper. I added some vertical stripes using some border stickers from Bo Bunny’s Sweet Clementine sticker sheet and then embellished using Love Story Ephemera, and Junk Drawer Bits and Pieces and Decorative Brads, all by Simple Stories. I also threw in a few coral-colored paper doilies and some gilded washi tape shapes that I fussy cut.

I used this sketch from Soul Scrapper’s December double page challenge. I moved the striped on the left over a little bit and didn’t add patterned paper on the lower half of the pages since I wanted to display the complete Patterson my background paper. I embellished with circular elements instead adding smaller photos since I didn’t have any that could be cropped down that small.

That’s all for this week! Thank you for visiting me here and checking out my paper creations. I will be back soon with an all new layout!
