Scrapbook Challenge
Joy To The World
Holiday Hues
Hi scrappers! I’m back with the last page of 2025! I used a photo taken around Christmas time in 2024 at a holiday lights display and combined it with a color palette of traditional red and green along with kraft, gold, black and white.
I started with some basic white cardstock by American Crafts and used that as my background. I created a watercolor effect on the left side of the page with some red and green acrylic paints. The right side is a patterned paper from the American Crafts Evergreen & Holly stack. I then double matted my photo using some red paper and a page from DCWV’s Kraft & Gold 6 X 6 stack. The green accent paper is the reverse side of the house print papered I cut a smaller piece to place my photo on top of.
I used a tag with lyrics from “Joy to the World” as my title and added in some kraft colored doilies and ephemera as well as some chipboard stickers by P13 and adhesive tags by Jolee’s Boutique. Lastly, I added some red adhesive pearls by Honey Bee Stamps.
This page was made using color palette inspiration from White…with 1 and Colorful Options which both had similar challenges for the month. I used red, green, brown, black and white to make this Christmas-themed page.
This page was also made for the Soul Scrappers December Tic Tac Tow challenge. I used the left column which included doilies, gold and arrows.
That’s all for this week! When I see you next, it will be 2026! Thank you for visiting my blog throughout the year and I will be back next year with brand new pages.
