Pastel Florals On A Dark Background
Hi scrappers! June is nearly over and I bring you my last layout for the month. I used some photos of my cat Europa and and paired them with a dark blue background that really made her eyes pop.
I started with some basic blue cardstock by The Paper Studio and then cut some squares from K & Company Wallpaper Stripe Paper. This paper was double-sided so I featured the stripes on one side and the light green florals on the other. I also had a scrap of Precious Paper by Maggie Holmes that matched. I used the side with little bows on it and arranged them so at least a few bows showed in their entirety.
I added some die cute circles and rings by albumlovehandmade and then layered some ephemera by Jen Hadfield and Goldenrod puffy stickers by One Canoe Two. I used a tag by the Hello Little Boy Ephemera pack as my title and used the last two hummingbird stickers of a sheet in my stash by Little B. The page was framed on top and bottom by some scalloped Vicki Boutin Discover + Create washi tape and finished with enamel dots by Simple Stories and Altenew.
This page was made for the June Sketch with a Twist challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts. The twist was just to use three patterned papers which is tough for me! I managed to stick with just three patterns and use solid papers for the rest.
That’s all for this week! Thank you for visiting and I will see you in July!
