Color Dare Design Team Challenge 660

One Day At A Time

Summer Neon

Hi everyone! This week I return with Color Dare for a very bright challenge! I loved the color palette this time around and I hope you will too! I feel like the colors would really work for just about any summer-themed page!

The background is made up partially of paper scraps and partially from triangles cut from paper by Echo Park Paper and Pink Paislee. I raided my stash and was once again surprised by all the items I had that were the right colors. I used a film strip by 49 and Market, created tags with some Momenta dies, cracked into a brand new sticker Quotes sticker book as well as added some flowers from the Pressed Florals sticker book, both by The Happy Planner. The big butterfly is from a My Mind’s Eye ephemera pack and the enamel dots are by Altenew. Lastly, I used an Aall & Create stencil with some TCW stencil butter.

Join us for challenge 660 at Color Dare! We would love to see how you use at least 2 of these 3 colors on your next project!

This page was created as part of a monthly mini crop where I ended up lifting this layout by mizz_kitty21. The paper quilting look is very unlike anything I normally make, mostly because cutting triangles leaves me with weird shaped scraps that I am less likely to use. However, I really love how this page came out, especially with the bold colors I used! Would you give this layout a try?

That’s all for now. Join me on Instagram and YouTube if you are looking for more paper crafting content!
