Orange And Sea Foam

Hi scrappers! This week I bring you a striking layout in orange and sea foam green with lots of glitter! I used some photos my husband took when I was just playing around with some dramatic makeup. They definitely work well on a glittery page!

I used some textured cardstock by Photoplay in Aquatint as my background. For the first time in a very long time, I went out and purchased some paper specifically for a project. I needed some orange glitter paper and found some by Recollections at my local Michaels. I love the contrast between these 2 colors! I cut up the 12 x 12 piece to mat my photos and my quote, create my title with some Tim Holtz alpha dies, make flowers with a Bold Flora die set, and make a border for my shaker.

My title comes from a Taylor Swift song which seemed appropriate here considering all the sparkles. If you are up to date with her current announcement for her new album, the color scheme might look familiar too!

I used the pale green side of some Vicki Boutin paper and cut a large piece of it to stack my photos on top of. I layered in some paper scraps in green and orange and added some butterflies by Aall & Create, rub-ons by 49 and Market, and some glittery push pin stickers by EK Success. I also made a shaker using a shaker pane by Sizzix and filled it with orange glitter and sequins. Lastly, I added a quote by Vincent Van Gough from the Free Spirit sticker book by The Happy Planner and some orange rhinestones by Molossi.

This page was made for the August Throwback challenge at Sketch N Scrap. I chose to use the bottom right sketch but with 2 photos instead of 3. I kept the journaling box as well as the position of the title.

That’s all for now. Join me on Instagram and YouTube if you are looking for more paper crafting content!
