My Favorite Brand In Pastel Teal, Bright Orange And Olive Green

Hi scrappers! I’m here highlighting two partners I worked with for this layout! Learn more about the favorite brand/manufacturer challenge with Lasting Memories and the color palette challenge going on at Color Dare, inviting you to use light teal, orange and a color of your choice in your next paper crafting project!

The photo I chose was taken in the Mammoth Lakes area. We like to go in the fall when the leaves are changing colors. I took this selfie while my husband was taking photos of the landscape.

Most of the products used are by 49 and Market. The only exceptions are the stenciled elements, paint splatters, the solid cardstock around my photo, and a scrap of teal triangle print paper.

I started with some mottled teal paper from the Kaleidoscope collection as my background. I then cut down 2 sheets of paper from the Curiosities in Willow Grove collection. I love both of these paper packs because the colors are vibrant, but the patterns are subtle. I also added a leftover scrap of fern print paper I had in my stash and I love how it looks with my photo.

I used ephemera from both the Plum Grove and Curiosities in Willow Grove collections because the colors matched my palette. My title combines pieces from both. I also added a butterfly, frame, and some florals from the Plum Grove laser cut elements pack. I used stencil butter by The Crafter’s Workshop and a stencil by Aall & Create to add some mixed media to the corners. The finishing touch were enamel Wishing Bubbles from the Kaleidoscope collection.

Join us at Lasting Memories for a challenge showcasing your favorite manufacturer or brand. I chose 49 and Market. I love their delicate laser cut outs and soft, whimsical designs.

Join us at Color Dare for a challenge using the colors above, plus one more of your choice. I chose olive green as my additional color since it matched the green tones in my photo.

This page was also made for the August Make the Cut challenge at A Cherry on Top Crafts. The provided paper dimensions were:

  • 3 x 6

  • 4 1/4 x 6 1/4

  • 3 x 12

  • 8 3/4 x 10 1/2

That’s all for this week! Join me for these last few weeks of summer for brand new scrapbook layouts.
